Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters from the Kutztown University and have been practicing since 2019. I have worked in various settings, including private practice and community mental health in the Mental Health, Intensive Outpatient (group), and Drug and Alcohol Programs . My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to build rapport, collaborate, and achieve your recovery goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, I will ask questions as needed and provide space to facilitated discussion regarding your interests, goals, and reason for starting therapy. I enjoy getting to know more about my clients but will respect their comfort level with sharing. This helps with developing rapport and trust during the therapeutic process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am a soft-spoken and have a gentle demeanor. I create a safe and nonjudgmental environment that encourages trust and openness so that clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I provide personalized treatment based on my clients' goals, preferences, and needs. However, I am an open and honest person who is willing to share about myself or tell it how it is, as needed.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with clients who are open and honest about their wants and needs- even if it is unclear to them at the time. Communication is key for any relationship, including a therapeutic one. By discussing goals, we can collaborate on the best approach to take and make changes as needed. I love hearing about clients taking the steps they need to improve their lives so that they are on the most fulfilling path as possible.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all interrelated. By exploring and increasing awareness of how this connection affects our lives, we feel empowered to grow and make the changes we want. Part of this is by identifying any unhelpful thinking habits and identifying ways that are more beneficial.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Unconditional positive regard, genuineness, and understanding are important to a good therapeutic relationship. By allowing the client to address what they want/need to and providing a space where they feel heard, clients can clients can feel more empowered to do what they need. All of this can motivate the client to move towards growth.
