I work with individuals who have faced traumatic life events and Individuals with complex behavioral needs. I have 12 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) working with individuals diagnosed on the autism spectrum, and 8 years of experience that includes parent training, conducting individual and family therapy, and 4 years working with clients who have experienced trauma. I provide parent training, family, couples, and individual therapy in a safe and supportive environment. I encourage open discussion and problem analysis with a solution focused mindset. I have worked with individuals ranging from 2 to 50 years of age in homes, schools, clinics, hospitals, and communities. I believe human beings are resilient, and given the right support have the ability to activate untapped potential within themselves to love, heal, and thrive
During the first session, clients can expect a review of confidentiality and its limits, followed by a general discussion of the concerns or challenges that brought them to therapy. We will also talk about your goals, expectations, and what you hope to gain from counseling. The first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and for you to share what feels comfortable. There is no expectation that you have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. Together, we will identify areas that may benefit from support and begin developing a plan that is tailored to your individual needs and goals. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your questions, comfort level, and feedback are important. As we move forward, we will work together to build a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and understanding.

I am trained in traumatic incident reduction and work with clients to release the emotional attachment to past traumas that triggers traumatic stress in the present.
I take a strategic approach to therapy to identify problems areas within relationships, and personal goals. I work with my clients to take concrete steps towards symptom relief and goal attainment. I also work with my clients on identifying and working through cognitive processes that lead to undesired behavioral patterns.
