My name is Ashley, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York and Florida. I have experience working with individuals, families, and couples across the lifespan. I am particularly passionate about empowering women and gender nonconforming individuals to build confidence, deepen self-awareness, and regain a sense of control in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first few sessions, we will focus on getting to know one another, building a strong therapeutic relationship, and ensuring a good fit. I will ask thoughtful, guided questions to better understand your background, experiences, and goals, while also creating space for you to share your story at your own pace. Together, we will begin to identify priorities and develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your needs, values, and goals moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

While I treat a range of concerns—including anxiety, depression, and life transitions—my primary area of focus is working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, body image concerns, and self-esteem. I provide care through a trauma-informed, supportive approach, helping clients develop a healthier relationship with themselves and their bodies.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Due to the society we live in, women and non-conforming individuals tend to receive insufficient services and it is an evidence-based fact that women suffer more physical and mental health concerns due to lack of accessibility and availability of appropriate services. Due to this and in addition to identifying as a woman myself, I have taken particular interest in advocating for those who need it and my ultimate goal is increasing equitable treatment. Since I specialize in treating trauma and eating disorders, I work best with those struggling with self-esteem and personal worth, helping to empower them.
