About me

I work with adults ready for focused, engaged therapy. My work centers on identity and major life transitions. Sessions are structured and collaborative and require a private, distraction-free space (no driving/being driven). This is therapy for people prepared to show up consistently, participate actively, and build stability, clarity, and confidence over time. I specialize in men's issues. In addition to my behavioral health qualifications, I have extensive training in employment-related issues (through formal business school training and HR Management certification).

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, you can expect a chance to settle in, talk things through, and get comfortable. We will focus on what feels most important right now and what you would like to see change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am especially good at working with people who feel worn out, burned down by work, or tired of carrying stress for too long. Many of the people I help are dealing with pressure, overload, and that feeling of running on empty. My focus is on helping things start to feel lighter and more manageable again.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I support clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment difficulties, stress, relationship problems, grief, and burnout. I offer a compassionate, active, and practical therapy space where clients can feel understood, build effective coping tools, and move toward meaningful emotional growth. I have additional training in substance use disorders and work-related stress management. I look forward to assisting you, and I hope to see you soon!

My treatment methods

Family Therapy

I use Family Therapy to help families break unhealthy patterns and build stronger, more supportive relationships. By improving communication, setting healthy boundaries, and fostering trust, I guide families through challenges like parenting stress, conflict, and life transitions. The goal is to create lasting change so your family feels more connected, resilient, and ready to thrive together.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma-Focused CBT to help clients process painful experiences in a safe and structured way. This approach combines practical coping skills with gentle exploration of trauma memories to reduce distress, reframe unhelpful thoughts, and build resilience. I focus on helping clients feel grounded, regain a sense of control, and move forward with greater confidence and emotional balance.

Christian Counseling

I offer Christian Counseling for clients who want their faith to be part of the healing process. I integrate biblical principles with evidence-based therapy to address emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges. Sessions may include prayer, scripture reflection, and faith-based guidance alongside practical tools for coping and growth. This approach helps clients find comfort, purpose, and strength as they work toward emotional and spiritual well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because it’s considered the gold standard for treating anxiety, depression, and many other challenges. CBT is evidence-based, practical, and highly effective because it focuses on changing unhelpful thought patterns that drive difficult emotions and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to set clear goals, build coping skills, and apply tools that create real, lasting improvements in daily life.

During today's session, she helped me think about tools for growth and skills for coping which I am very grateful for.

Fantastic first session! Yulia was warm and kind, made sure I remembered my strong qualities: that I am resilient and strong; her questions were on point and fitting, and she helped uncover the self-abandoning pattern that I was aware of but hadn't really dealt with. Really loved Yulia, will continue with her!
