Welcome: I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, and purpose. My approach combines evidence-based therapeutic practices with a faith-informed perspectives, when desired, to support emotional healing, personal growth, and lasting change.

My practice helps clients locate their best life and work through their troubling thoughts.

I believe every person has value, every story deserves to be heard, and healing is possible even in life's most difficult seasons. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgemental space where you can strengthen your resilience, discover your inner strengths, and move forward with hope and confidence.

First session

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can share their story at their own pace. During our first session, we will begin exploring what brought them to counseling, identify their concerns and goals, and discuss what they hope to gain from the therapeutic process. My goal is for each client to leave feeling heard, understood, and supported, with a clearer sense of direction and an understanding of how we can work together toward meaningful change. There is no expectation to have everything figured out or share everything at once. This is the beginning of a collaborative journey toward healing, growth, and greater emotional well-being.

Strengths

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to actively listen to the client. Through my faith in Jesus I have the gift of seeing several perspectives and being nonjudgmental. I bring the ability of love and empathy. Looking through the eyes of my clients helps me to see how they are functioning in life.

Ideal clients

I help adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, emotional struggles, trauma, and the weight of life's expectations, develop healthier coping skills, establish boundaries, and move toward a more peaceful and purposeful life through compassionate, evidence-based counseling and optional faith-informed support. My ideal client is an adult who is ready to better understand themselves, work through life's challenges, and create meaningful changes in their emotional wellbeing and relationships. They may be experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, unresolved trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-worth, difficulty establishing boundaries, or recurring patterns that leave them feeling stuck. They may spend much of their time caring for others while struggling to prioritize their own needs. They may know they want something to change but feel uncertain about where to begin. My ideal client does not need to have all the answers. They need a supportive environment where they can speak openly, feel respected, explore difficult emotions, and learn practical skills for navigating life more effectively. They are willing to explore their experiences, build self-awareness, and work toward healthier coping strategies, stronger boundaries, improved relationships, and greater emotional resilience. They may also value faith or spirituality and appreciate having the option to incorporate these values into their counseling experience. My goal is to meet the client where they are, recognize their individual strengths, and collaborate with them as they work toward their personal goals for healing and growth.

Treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I help clients to drown out the world around them and improve their focus. Also with DBT, I encourage clients to understand their limits on their emotions with themselves and around others.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Through CBT I will actively listen to clients and help guide them through their thoughts.
