Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My approach is warm, welcoming, and sometimes humorous. Our first session will be about getting to know each other. Together, we will develop therapy goals and make a strategic treatment plan to follow.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I work with clients from a variety of backgrounds. My style of interaction is warm, caring, and humorous (when appropriate). Clients working with me often report feeling better after their first session.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in men's issues, porn addiction, trauma, and spirituality. However, I work with a variety of issues across the spectrum of mental health needs. I use multiple models of therapy that are sometimes integrated, person-centered, and solution-focused.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I am a Clinical Mental Health Therapist who works with proven clinical models of intervention from a Christian perspective.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a popular form of mental health treatment. Together we will explore and identify any irrational or unrealistic thoughts that you may have and reframe them. Using psychoeducation, the goal is that you will develop tools and coping to accomplish your mental health goals.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

When appropriate, you may notice that I will take a more interventional approach to the method of treatment. I believe there is a solution to most issues we face.

Integrative

There are many effective models of treatment. From time to time, when appropriate, you may notice that I will use an approach from model or theory and integrate it with another.
