About me

I received my Master's Degree in Counseling from Wayne State University in 2011. I am experienced in providing a wide variety of therapeutic services including Substance Use, Addictions, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and Grief and Loss. I see adults, 18 and over, including elders. I offer both telehealth and in person sessions, whichever works best for you. Making a call is your first step towards feeling better. I look forward to meeting you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, I'll be gathering some information from you to determine what your life experience has been up to this point. This information will not only allow me to get to know you better, but will also allow me to determine what tools and approaches would work best to help you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Helping people is something I am passionate about. You will have the space to express yourself, show emotion, and gain helpful tools. Whether we are on video, or in person, there is no judgment, so you can feel free to be you. We'll work together to make life smoother going forward.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults over 18 who are looking to create meaningful change in their lives, even if they're not sure where to begin. I help those dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and substance use. My goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate, and judgment free space where client's feel heard and respected. We will work together to make life easier going forward.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all connected. Sometimes we develop patterns that leave us feeling anxious, depressed, or stuck. We can identify these patterns and replace them with healthier and more balanced ways of thinking that can help you feel more confident and in control.

Faith based therapy

Often in therapy, we can draw on our faith to help us through difficult situations. If you have a faith you follow, whatever that may be, we can incorporate that into our therapy in a way that helps you feel more supported on your road to positive change.
