New to Grow
Specializing in the challenges of aging — from preparing emotionally and practically for retirement, building back after the loss of a spouse, to navigating the weight of chronic illness in yourself, a spouse, or an aging parent. I am a trained dementia therapist, and certified by the Center for Mental Health and Aging. Let me help you find your footing after a dementia diagnosis and navigate that journey as a patient or a caregiver.
In my practice I can assess cognitive decline, dementia, depression, anxiety and offer a thoughtful blend of coaching, counseling, and consulting tailored to meet you exactly where you are. I offer a warm and practical person-centered approach that helps families, caregivers and individuals reduce stress, improve daily life and preserve dignity.
I've spent my career believing that the right support at the right moment can change everything for a person. I work with individuals and families who are navigating some of life's biggest and most tender transitions. I've spent years at the intersection of healthcare and human connection, and I'm bringing everything I've learned to sit alongside you. I am certified in Mental Health and Aging and Dementia Therapy and have worked with dementia patients and their families, aging Veterans managing the long term affects of PTSD and older adults struggling with depression, anxiety and grief.
The majority of my clients are over age 50 and are managing a significant life transition. Many report feeling depressed or anxious and are struggling with a chronic illness or dementia/Parkinson's diagnosis themself, or in a family member. Many of my clients are caregivers who struggle to juggle it all. We will utilize skills a variety of person-centered approaches, skills found in DBT, CBT and solution focused treatment to bring you relief as quickly as possible.

We look to create balance by implementing skills to help you better manage your thoughts, emotions and behaviors
We will identify automatic thoughts that impact your emotional, physiological and behavioral reponses
We will explore the grief of losing a loved one, but also the anticipatory grief of slowing losing someone you love to a chronic illness.
We will look at the story you have created about your life and find positive meaning.
