About me
Hello, my name is Anat Lieberman. I have been an LCSW since 1995 in the State of Florida. I have worked with elderly clients in a psychiatric unit, dialysis patients with other co-morbidities, holocaust survivors and their families, and people from many walks of life at a family agency. I am not a child therapist, but I do work with teenagers. I have been in private practice for the past five years, seeing multiple types of clients, with various challenges, through telehealth.

My main approach in a first session is to help make my client feel comfortable, start getting to know them, and letting them get to know me and my therapeutic process.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I have worked with many populations, including different age groups, with depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, parents of disabled children, holocaust survivors, and womens issues. I have utilized interpersonal psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness. I strive to create a positive and non-judgmental environment for each individual client. I always meet the client where they are to form a bond and help them feel comfortable.

I’ve worked with clients who dealt with life transitions, including young adults searching for careers and for people that suit them, middle-aged adults seeking out a better work-life balance, and elderly people coping with aging and mortality. Many clients approached me seeking support in navigating their personal relationships, familial or otherwise. People come to me to feel less overwhelmed about their lives.
