My work is informed by real-life experiences, which allows me to approach therapy with authenticity, compassion, and genuine understanding. My approach is rooted in empathy and collaboration, creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns at a pace that feels right for you. I help adults manage anxiety, navigate relationships, cope with stress, and handle the demands of everyday life. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful patterns, develop practical tools, and work toward greater self-understanding, emotional balance, and meaningful, lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. We’ll explore the challenges you’re facing and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you and your therapy process. It’s also a chance to start building a supportive, collaborative relationship where your experiences are heard and understood.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My style is authentic and relational, balancing kindness and understanding with thoughtful, straightforward feedback. I aim to validate your experiences while gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I draw on DBT, CBT, and Person-Centered approaches—often blending them—to tailor support to your needs. I focus on making progress tangible by helping you recognize growth, develop practical tools, and gain insight into patterns that may be holding you back. Throughout our work, I provide honest, compassionate guidance to keep you motivated, always moving at a pace that feels safe, sustainable, and supportive.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work most effectively with young adult clients who are navigating life transitions, peer relationships, family dynamics, and romantic concerns. I also feel well-suited to support adults of any age who are experiencing anxiety or anxiety-related challenges. My use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered approaches allows me to tailor treatment to these populations, helping clients build insight, develop coping skills, and feel supported in their growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In this approach, I help you identify and understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I work with you to recognize unhelpful or distorted thinking patterns and guide you in challenging and reframing them into more balanced, realistic thoughts. Together, we explore how these patterns impact your emotions and actions, and I support you in developing healthier coping strategies. Throughout the process, I support you in building awareness, problem-solving skills, and confidence in your ability to manage challenges.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In this approach, I focus on helping you build practical skills to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and reduce harmful behaviors. I might teach and practice specific skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. During the session, I help you apply these skills to real-life situations, often reviewing recent challenges and identifying more effective ways to cope. I also support you in staying motivated, tracking your progress, and reinforcing your ability to handle difficult situations more effectively.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In this approach, I attempt to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to openly express your thoughts and emotions. I practice active listening and demonstrate core conditions such as empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness, allowing you to lead the conversation. Rather than directing or offering solutions, I attempt to reflect your feelings and experiences to deepen self-understanding and insight. This approach helps you access your own inner resources, build self-awareness, and move toward personal growth and self-acceptance.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

This approach centers on a collaborative partnership between the client and therapist, with an emphasis on creating solutions rather than examining past problems. Rather than focusing on the deep origins of difficulties, I support you in recognizing your strengths, resources, and previous successes. Together, we establish realistic, achievable goals and identify practical steps toward positive change, helping to build confidence and sense of independence. This approach is short-term and future-oriented, focusing on what is already effective in order to foster lasting, meaningful progress.
