I specialize in treating issues related to trauma and abuse, substance abuse, depression and anxiety.

I want you to know that feeling better is possible for you and change can last.

First session

My therapeutic approach is CBT, DBT, and grounded in a solution focused model. I will assist you to gain confidence to find the resources and strategies that work best for you so that you can make changes with lasting effects. I welcome you to call and start your growth and healing journey.

Strengths

Non-judgmental and respectful attitude, which shows empathy and acceptance of clients. Good interpersonal and communication skills, which help to establish rapport and trust with clients. Being flexible in my approach to best serve each client's needs and treatment plan goals.

Ideal clients

I specialize in helping you develop coping and relapse prevention skills. I will work to help you challenge unhealthy and ineffective thoughts and emphasize self-care strategies to abstain your sobriety and reduce your stress, anxiety, and depression. I offer hope and a safe space to share, to discover and to heal. I offer compassion & acceptance.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past 30 years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I help individuals accept and commit to their values in the face of negative thoughts, feelings, or circumstances.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Its main goals are to teach individuals how to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships with others.
