I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Kentucky. I understand that seeking help takes courage, and I believe that real, lasting change—though often difficult—is always possible. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in mutual respect. I consider it a privilege to hear your story, support your healing process, and help you move toward the life you want to live. You deserve to feel seen, supported, and empowered—through an approach that feels right to you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and building a foundation of trust. I’ll ask about what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, and your goals for treatment. Together, we’ll discuss how therapy works, what approaches I use, and answer any questions you have. This session is a safe space for you to share at your own pace, and we’ll begin exploring what feels most important to address moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a provider include my ability to listen deeply and create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and understood. I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges related to eating disorders, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and OCD behaviors. I’m skilled at tailoring evidence-based approaches to fit each person’s unique needs. I utilize both empathy combined with practical tools in order to create personal growth. I approach therapy with patience and collaboration, guiding clients through challenging emotions while encouraging them to actively engage in their own healing process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to serve clients who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives, even when the process feels uncomfortable or uncertain. My clients are often deep thinkers, sensitive, and seeking a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can be fully seen, heard, and supported as they work toward healing and personal growth.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build psychological flexibility by teaching them to accept difficult thoughts and emotions rather than avoid them. I guide clients in identifying their core values and committing to meaningful actions aligned with those values. Through mindfulness, cognitive defusion, and values-based interventions, I support clients in living fuller, more purposeful lives—even in the presence of pain or struggle.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to their distress. Together, we work to develop more balanced thinking and practice coping strategies that promote healthier emotional and behavioral responses.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. I support clients in navigating intense emotions and developing healthier ways to cope with conflict and stress, while balancing acceptance and change.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help clients become more present and aware of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations without judgment. By cultivating mindfulness, clients learn to observe their inner experiences with greater clarity and respond to stress and discomfort with compassion and intentionality.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I work collaboratively with clients to reduce trauma-related symptoms, build resilience, and restore a sense of safety and empowerment.

Brock cares about his patients. He puts himself within the situation and looks at everything with the open lens to provide authentic expectations, outcomes, and solutions. I'm allowed to be candid and transparent with my issues and he listens thoroughly.

This was my first time in therapy and i’ll have to admit I was definitely nervous, however Brock is great! He’s a great listener, very direct, warm and open minded so far and I certainly look forward to our next sessions.

He was very compassionate and respectful throughout my entire first session. He worked well with what I needed and is actually someone I would recommend to another person of similar circumstances that needs someone to push them to where they need to be. He gives me hope that someday I might be okay.
