Megan Boulton
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with experience supporting individuals and families across all ages and abilities. I have a particular passion for supporting youth and their families, while also valuing the opportunity to work with individuals and families at every stage of life. My background includes working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, relationship and family changes, grief and loss, and various life transitions. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I value taking the time to get to know each person, understand their unique experiences, and work together to find meaningful ways to move forward.

First session
Clients can expect a welcoming, comfortable, and judgment-free space where they can begin to share their story at their own pace. Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another, discuss what brings them to therapy, explore their concerns and goals, and begin identifying what support might be most helpful. I recognize that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially for those who are new to the process, so I strive to make the experience feel relaxed, collaborative, and approachable. My hope is that clients leave their first session feeling heard, understood, and more comfortable taking the next step in their journey.
Strengths
I bring a compassionate, collaborative, and individualized approach to therapy. My background as both a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Board Certified Behavior Analyst provides me with a unique perspective, allowing me to consider the emotional, behavioral, and environmental factors that influence an individual's experiences. I have a particular appreciation for the experiences of neurodivergent individuals and the families who support them. I strive to recognize each person's strengths, meet them where they are, and work together to develop practical strategies that feel meaningful and realistic in their everyday lives.
Ideal clients
I welcome individuals and families at all stages of life, whether navigating a specific challenge, adjusting to life changes, or seeking support and a better understanding of themselves. I have experience working with adults, children of all ages, and families navigating concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, autism, and other life challenges. I also support individuals and families through grief and loss, offering a compassionate and supportive space to process their experiences.
Treatment methods
Strength-Based
I offer compassionate guidance through trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, family transitions, and to neurodivergent learners and families as they navigate unique needs and goals. My approach is warm and collaborative. Using evidence based, solution focused strategies, I offer a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work toward greater well being.
