New to Grow
As a bilingual (English and Mandarin) social worker, I believe in meeting clients where they are and honoring their unique experiences. My experiences living across cultures and exploring different aspects of identity have shaped my appreciation for the diverse paths people take in life. Through our journey together, I will walk alongside you as you build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and develop practical tools for lasting growth and healing.
In our first session together, I hope to learn about you as a whole person and gain an understanding of what has brought you to this point in your journey. We will also explore your hopes for therapy and address any questions or concerns you may have about the process. My intention is to provide a warm, accepting, and empowering environment where you feel supported in exploring challenges, building insight, and fostering lasting change.
My approach is integrative and tailored to each client's unique circumstances and life experiences. I emphasize continuous collaboration to ensure that care is personalized, effective, and aligned with each client's goals. The therapeutic modalities I commonly draw from include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Grief Therapy, Mindfulness-Based approaches, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
In my past clinical experience, I've worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and across a wide range of ages. I enjoying working with clients from various walks of life. My clients are often experiencing difficulties coping with emotions, feeling confused about their distress, desiring a space for authenticity and warmth, and a nonjudgmental environment. I welcome all who are experiencing various struggles in life and will support you on taking the first step towards healing.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy allows me to support you in sitting with difficult emotions, highlight important values to guide you towards goals, and being present with your thoughts with new perspectives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy draws out thought patterns that may be hindering you from who you want to become, through this process, we can gently loosen rigid thoughts and replace them with empowering ideas.
Grief Therapy
Grief Therapy involves necessary education about stages of grief, on top of non-judgmental space for listening and validation, normalizing, and processing losses in different aspects of life, and finding meaning.
Psychodynamic
I incorporate psychodynamic approach into my therapy to help us explore the roots of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, for a profound understanding of your identity and your way of navigating this world.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness often shows up in my practice as a form of coping skills, but also as a way of observing your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with no judgements. It helps to unhook rigid thought patterns, retaining your peace, and learning more about yourself.
