About me

Even strong, successful couples can struggle behind closed doors. Stress, busy schedules, communication breakdowns, unresolved hurt, intimacy challenges, parenting demands, and career pressures can slowly create distance in a relationship that once felt effortless. I work with couples who want more than just fewer arguments — they want to feel connected, understood, desired, and supported again. Together, we work to improve communication, rebuild trust, deepen emotional and physical intimacy, and create healthier ways of navigating conflict and partnership. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Certified Sex Therapist with 17 years of experience, I help couples strengthen both their relationship and their connection so they can build a marriage that feels secure, passionate, and sustainable long-term.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where both partners feel heard, respected, and understood. We’ll spend time discussing what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently facing, and what you hope to improve in your relationship. I’ll ask questions about your communication patterns, emotional connection, conflict, intimacy, relationship history, and the overall strengths and stressors within your partnership. This first session is not about blaming either partner — it’s about gaining clarity, understanding the relationship dynamic, and identifying where change and growth are possible. You can expect a warm, direct, and collaborative approach. I’ll help guide the conversation in a way that allows both partners to speak openly and honestly, even about difficult topics that may have been hard to discuss before. By the end of the session, most couples leave with greater insight into their relationship patterns, a clearer understanding of the next steps, and hope that positive change is possible. Together, we’ll begin building practical tools to improve communication, strengthen connection, rebuild trust, and create a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is the balance of warmth, honesty, and practical guidance I bring into the therapy room. I create a safe, judgment-free space where couples can openly discuss the challenges they’ve been avoiding—whether that’s communication breakdowns, emotional disconnection, intimacy concerns, trust issues, recurring conflict, or the stress of balancing life and relationships. My approach blends evidence-based relationship and sex therapy with practical tools that help couples improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, rebuild trust, and deepen physical intimacy. I help couples move beyond simply “getting through” problems and toward creating a relationship that feels more connected, secure, passionate, and fulfilling. Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling more hopeful, understood, and confident in their ability to grow together and sustain a healthy, loving partnership throughout the different stages of life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are married couples ( and/or individuals) who love each other deeply but feel lost when it comes to sexual intimacy. They may be stuck in a cycle of avoidance, frustration, or conflict because sex has become inconsistent or nonexistent. These couples often feel embarrassed, disconnected, or unsure how to fix it—but they’re motivated to reconnect. They want to experience pleasure again, feel desired by their partner, and create a sex life that’s satisfying and sustainable. I’m best positioned to help couples who are ready to talk about the hard stuff and rebuild intimacy that lasts across the lifespan.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive training and practical experience in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a foundational treatment method in my clinical practice. My interest in CBT stems from its strong empirical support and its structured, goal-oriented framework that empowers clients to understand and shift unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior. In my work with individuals and couples, I integrate CBT to help clients identify distorted cognitions, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and build insight into how their thoughts influence their emotions and actions. For example, when working with clients experiencing anxiety or depression, I use CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and thought tracking to support symptom reduction and emotional regulation. With couples, I often apply CBT strategies to help partners recognize and reframe negative interpretations of each other’s actions, improve problem-solving skills, and establish more effective communication patterns. I also incorporate CBT tools like guided journaling, role play, and homework assignments to reinforce skills between sessions and promote lasting change. Overall, CBT is a versatile and effective modality that I tailor to each client’s needs, helping them gain clarity, resilience, and the practical tools necessary to create meaningful shifts in their daily lives and relationships.

I’ve been seeing Natalie for over 8+ years & she never ceases to amaze me. She is kind, listens openly & without judgment, is sure that I feel my feelings, & then we work together to move forward. I’d suggest her to anyone looking for a therapist.
