I am a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in NJ. believe in a holistic approach to therapy, which means I aim to understand you as a whole person, including your physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual well-being.
My approach isn't a one-size-fits-all; I use a variety of therapeutic techniques.
First session
During our first session, we will discuss current issues and limitations. I value taking the time to build a strong therapeutic relationship with clients. My goal is to provide my clients with support, compassion/empathy, and guidance to deal with life’s challenges. We will always work at your own pace and where you are at emotionally. I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable to explore and grow, all while achieving your personal goals.
Strengths
With a person-centered and eclectic style, I focus on truly understanding each client’s inner world and tailoring the process to their needs. My background includes working with diverse populations across a range of settings, which has taught me how to adapt in real time and create a space that feels safe, respectful, and empowering. I’ve also done deep personal work myself, which helps me show up with authenticity, compassion, and a grounded understanding of how real change happens—not just in theory, but in practice.
Ideal clients
I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families from diverse cultures/backgrounds and adverse experiences. Some challenges my clients face include depression, anxiety, trauma, gender/sexuality identification, suicidal ideations, self-harm, difficulties with self-esteem, and conflicts within relationships. My ideal client is someone who is ready to engage in the process, explore new perspectives, and work collaboratively toward meaningful change.
Treatment methods
Eclectic
I use an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from various evidence-based modalities to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and circumstances. I will meet you where you are at in your journey and build a relationship based on trust and safety.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
You are the expert in your life. I create a non-judgmental, empathetic, and supportive environment where you feel heard and valued. By allowing you to guide the pace and direction of our sessions, I help you tap into your own strengths and insights, empowering you to make meaningful changes and reach your full potential.
