I am a therapist (LCSW) who is passionate about self-empowerment and personal transformation. I understand the effects of trauma and the healing process. I received an MSW degree from California Sate University Los Angeles (2006). As your mental health therapist, I will collaborate with you to identify areas in your life where you want to heal and create positive changes. Se habla Espanol.
In our first session, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with adults professionals for the past 18 years, I've skills for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
I enjoy working with adults. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers.

I use CBT techniques to interrupt negative thoughts such as distortions and replace them with more realistic thoughts for example “it hurts that I didn’t get the position I applied to” followed by a positive thought “but I have been hired for other positions in the past”.
