In our first session together it will be a brief introduction, and discussion about expectation for therapy. We will also dive into the challenges you are facing. This will assistance with creating a specific plan for us to navigate through in our next sessions.

Having worked in my professional for four years, I have come to an understanding on meeting clients where they are. While assistance them in identifying their own strengths and obtaining the tools to make changes in their lives for the betterment.

Strength-Based

Strength-Based approach focuses on the qualities and power client's already posses. I find using this approach helps build self-esteem and accountability.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Focusing on thought patterns of clients and how that may influence their behavior and ideal of self. Helping them recognize their negative though patterns and assistance client with replace negative thoughts with more positive thought patterns.

Motivational Interviewing

My experience with motivational interviewing, it allows the insight on understanding client motive to change. Also allows client to hear themself and understanding ownership in the process to change.
