About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with individuals across the lifespan. Over the past four years, my work has focused more on geriatric mental health and life transitions. I also work alongside treating adults of all ages with problems like anxiety, depression, trauma (PTSD), bipolar disorders and other mental health conditions. My earlier community‑based experience ranged from children to older adults and provided a great deal of experience in working with people with a wide range of mental health and chronic conditions. I ground my practice in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, integrating Dialectal Behavioral Therapy skills and Mindfulness practices. I hope to help you navigate your way through your current challenges.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

A relaxed conversation — no prep needed. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, your history, and the goals you want to work toward. I’ll explain how I work (CBT, with DBT and mindfulness strategies mainly). We’ll close with clear next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Experience in community mental health for approximately 16 years seeing a range of clients and problems from children to older adults. The past 4 years I've been in private practice providing Telehealth Therapy where I employ CBT and Mindfulness focused therapy. I strive to be nonjudgmental, open minded and present to help.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client comes as they are and feels ready to explore their challenges with care and curiosity. They move at a pace that feels right and stay connected to what matters to them. They create space for growth, healing, and building on the strengths they already have, trusting their own process and what feels most healthy for them to improve.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as the foundation of my work with clients, helping them identify the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we look at unhelpful or distorted thinking patterns — like catastrophizing or all-or-nothing thinking — and work on reframing them into more balanced, realistic perspectives. For senior adult clients especially, this often means addressing thought patterns tied to life transitions, loss, or health changes. I don’t use CBT rigidly.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I integrate DBT skills (like distress tolerance and emotion regulation) and mindfulness practices when they fit a client’s needs, so the approach stays flexible and responsive to what each person is going through.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person‑centered approach that focuses on working together, client choice, and support that promotes self‑determination while fitting each person’s needs and goals for change.

Strength-Based

Strengths‑based approach that helps people recognize and build on what they already do well.
