I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 20 years of experience as a therapist. I specialize in geriatric care alongside anxiety, depression, trauma, and bipolar disorder, among other mental health conditions. My clinical approach centers on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which I integrate with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills and mindfulness practices to create a well-rounded, evidence-based treatment plan for each client.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

A relaxed conversation — no prep needed. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, your history, and the goals you want to work toward. I’ll explain how I work (CBT, with DBT and mindfulness as needed). You’ll find me open-minded, nonjudgmental, and mindfully present. We’ll close with clear next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Experience in community mental health for approximately 17 years. The past 4 years I've been in private practice providing Telehealth Therapy. I employ CBT and Mindfulness focused therapy where I strive to be nonjudgmental, open minded and present to help.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love geriatric work with a deep passion for helping senior adults navigate life’s transitions — retirement, loss, health changes, trauma, and the emotional weight that can come with them. I specialize in grief, depression, anxiety, and trauma, and also work with bipolar disorder and other mental health conditions. I also enjoy working with adults of all ages and backgrounds.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as the foundation of my work with clients, helping them identify the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we look at unhelpful or distorted thinking patterns — like catastrophizing or all-or-nothing thinking — and work on reframing them into more balanced, realistic perspectives. For my senior adult clients especially, this often means addressing thought patterns tied to life transitions, loss, or health changes. I don’t use CBT rigidly — I integrate DBT skills (like distress tolerance and emotion regulation) and mindfulness practices when they fit a client’s needs, so the approach stays flexible and responsive to what each person is going through.
