I’m Kira Watley, LPC, LCDC, and owner of The Wellness Spot. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, life transitions, and relationship stress. My practice offers a compassionate, culturally responsive space where clients can feel heard, supported, and empowered to heal. I have an extensive background working with multiple populations. I am here to support you through this journey.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your history, current concerns, strengths, goals, and what support feels most helpful for you. You do not have to have everything figured out before starting. We will move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable while creating a plan that fits your needs.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I bring warmth, honesty, clinical experience, and a nonjudgmental approach to every session. My background in mental health and substance use allows me to look at the whole person, not just the symptoms. I focus on helping clients feel understood while also giving them practical tools to create change, build confidence, and move toward healing.

My ideal client is someone who is ready to feel supported, understood, and empowered while working through life’s challenges. I am best positioned to serve adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, relationship difficulties, stress, emotional overwhelm, or major life transitions. I work well with clients who want to build healthier coping skills, improve communication, break unhealthy patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
