About me

Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in PA, and I’m currently accepting new virtual individual therapy clients. I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling and Addiction Studies Certificate in 2015 and have worked in substance use disorder and mental health treatment since 2014. I have a passion for working with individuals from dysfunctional or addicted family systems, as well as those navigating codependency. I believe that understanding the dynamics of relationships is crucial for healing and growth. My goal is to provide a safe space where you can explore these patterns and develop healthier connections.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I will gather background information and create a supportive environment for you to explore your current feelings and challenges. Together, we will discuss your goals and develop a plan for our follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy is collaborative and strength-based, tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I work in a direct yet supportive way, with the goal of helping clients identify practical solutions and build on their existing resilience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Many of the clients I work with have set goals to better understand themselves, change patterns of behavior that they feel stuck in, and improve their relationships.

A fantastic help with complex relationship dynamics. Clearly very well informed on feminist and leftist theory and brings a perspective that like-minded patients will find helpful and refreshing.

Allison is very good at listening to my babble and somehow finding the key points I made. Her questions are great and she definitely is steering me in the right direction. She listens intently and challenges when appropriate. I highly recommend her.
