About me

I have a lot of lived experience, I will be able to support you deeply and fully as your guide/healer/therapist/sister/........You matter. I got you! I am passionate about my work and I acknowledge the tremendous courage it takes to talk with a mental health provider about your life. I see myself as a wounded healer but constantly transforming into a better me. I have been humbled my by own life struggles and my hope is YOU never feel judged or unsupported by me. I'd like to offer you genuine care, warmth, and to empower you. Our work together can serve as powerful tool for you to attain more fulfillment and peace of mind. We could all use more support with navigating through this challenging & complicated life!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Zero judgment, I am too much of a work in progress myself! Permission to be human, its okay, we all mess up and all could use extra support on being better humans, and attracting better people to support us.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Unconditional love. I ask questions, I am engaging, and I am your ultimate cheerleader, your advocate, and I am on your side. I want to help you see how much you truly matter and that you are made for greatness.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Self awareness present, humility present, and an open heart. I want to be more for you than simply a therapist who listens. My goal is to support you with quieting down that all too often strong critical inner voice. My hope is to help you re-program your mind to be more self-compassionate.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

1. Identify Negative Thoughts: This involves becoming aware of automatic, negative thoughts that arise in response to specific situations or triggers. These thoughts can be irrational or distorted, contributing to emotional distress. 2. Challenge Negative Thoughts: Once negative thoughts are identified, they are examined for evidence for and against their validity. This step involves considering alternative perspectives and challenging the thought's accuracy. 3. Replace Negative Thoughts: After challenging negative thoughts, the next step is to replace them with more balanced or positive ones. This process is called cognitive restructuring. 4. Change Maladaptive Behaviors: Negative thought patterns often lead to behaviors that reinforce emotional distress. This step focuses on changing these maladaptive behaviors. 5. Maintain Progress Through Practice: The final step involves consistently practicing the techniques learned during therapy, even after sessions have ended, to maintain positive changes and prevent relapse.

Dr. Rena Singh-lovenitti is a great person to talk to. She has helped guide me through a lot of trials and tribulations and I've slowly learned to overcome my fears on my own with her help. She is very wise and really listens and gets to know you! She makes talking to someone so really and is such a light to have around!
