My approach to psychotherapy is tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals and build on existing strengths. I implement evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy as well as a creative approach. I am a licensed clinical psychologist, licensed marriage and family therapist and a Master Level Registered Addiction Specialist. In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, confidentiality and obtaining verbal consent. I will share about my therapeutic approaches. We will discuss presenting problems and will attend to the specific challenges you're facing. We will discuss expectations if any, and history of your experience with therapeutic alliances. This will help with creating a tailored plan to work through in follow-up sessions.

I was so impressed with her down to earth approach to my sometimes "extra" issues...she is very eye to eye I didn't feel not one time like she was looking down on me...I believe that she actually cares for clients...she has a good method for dealing with hardheaded people like me...she lets me think all the solutions are my idea....I just can't say enough good things about her!!!!!
