Hi, I'm Hayley, a Licensed Professional Counselor. You’ve already taken a huge step in prioritizing your mental health. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, stuck, or disconnected. They may not know exactly how to move forward, but they know something needs to change. I specialize in working with young adults and women navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and burnout. Together, we focus on building confidence, balance, and self-compassion, using humor and perseverance to navigate challenges along the way. My approach blends evidence-based practices such as CBT and mindfulness with warmth, authenticity, and compassion. I help clients better understand their thought patterns, regulate emotions, and develop the tools needed to create real, lasting change. In our work together, my goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, rediscover what makes you feel alive, and remember that growth is possible — even in the toughest moments. I know reaching out for help can feel intimidating, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. You don’t have to do it alone. If you're ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and your story. I’ll ask about your current challenges, goals, and what brings you to therapy, while also giving you space to share what feels most important. In the early stages, we work together to build trust, clarify your goals, and begin exploring patterns, strengths, and strategies that can support growth. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative environment where you feel heard and supported from the very beginning.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often share that they feel genuinely understood and at ease with me, without judgment, pressure, or the need to have everything figured out. I bring a calm, grounded presence to therapy and create a space where you can be honest, vulnerable, and fully yourself. My approach is both compassionate and practical. I believe meaningful change happens when insight is paired with tools you can actually use in everyday life. Together, we explore patterns, build emotional awareness, and develop strategies that support lasting growth at a pace that feels safe and supportive. I’m especially attuned to the unspoken, the thoughts and feelings that are hard to name, and the cycles that repeat despite your best efforts. Clients often notice greater clarity, emotional relief, stronger boundaries, and increased self-trust as our work unfolds. Above all, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are motivated to engage in the therapeutic process and open to self-reflection. Those who are willing to explore their thoughts, feelings, and patterns often find therapy most rewarding, and I enjoy partnering with them to support meaningful growth and change.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

My experience with motivational interviewing (MI) has shaped my therapeutic practice by grounding it in collaboration, respect for client autonomy, and a deep curiosity about each client’s values and readiness for change. Through Motivational Interviewing, I’ve learned to move away from directive or problem-solving approaches and instead focus on eliciting clients’ own motivations, strengths, and ambivalence in a nonjudgmental way.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

My work is grounded in person-centered therapy, meaning I focus on creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I see you as the expert on your own life, and I’m here to support you as you explore what you need and where you want to go; at your own pace, in your own way.

Psychoeducation

I incorporate psychoeducation into my work, which means I believe understanding why we think, feel, and react the way we do can be incredibly empowering. I’ll often share tools, concepts, or simple explanations to help make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, without all of the clinical and scientific jargon. My goal is to help you feel more informed, more confident, and better equipped to navigate life in a way that actually fits you.
