Greetings! I am Danielle Bostic, licensed clinical social worker extraordinaire and I'm here to help you navigate life when it gets tough and/or a little messy lol. I must admit that I'm not your average shrink or run-of-the-mill therapist! As a native from NYC hailing from Morgan State University, I would describe myself as a down-to-earth, straight-talking, heart-and-soul healer armed with book smarts, street smarts, and a heart as big as the city! Therapeutic Session Ingredients: A pint of wit and wisdom, cup of empathy and understanding, a touch of tough love, a sprinkle of social work magic, and a dash of "lets-get-your-shit-together"! Overall, my goal is to help guide you in your journey to achieving a life of emotional, mental and spiritual wellness! So, whether you're dealing with chaos or battling inner demons, I have your back and just know were coming out swinging. If you're ready to embark on an adventure of self-discovery, buckle up and get ready for a rollercoaster ride of revelation, transformation and bravery! Look forward to meeting you soon!
Our first session will be focused on learning each other, vibe a little and see if we're a good fit. I will inquire about your needs, interests, goals, and any other information you would like to share. I will answer any questions you have regarding the therapeutic process. I encourage and welcome questions and curiosity. At the end of the session, we will decide next steps that are best for you!
Current and previous clients have reported that they most appreciate that I am an empathetic, honest, nonjudgmental and supportive person. Being understanding, down to earth, realistic, kind, and funny (I think I'm quite funny if I do say so myself :D) helps create a comfortable and safe space for my clients so they can be themselves unapologetically! You lead and I will push you to get the most out of your journey! It is important for me to give you the knowledge and tools to make the best choices in your life. Therapy can be a frustrating process, but I hope that by the end of our sessions, you would have gained insight about your feelings, thoughts, and actions, as well as, developed and/or practiced skills to cope with challenges/barriers that are interrupting your life. The goal is for you to walk away with knowledge, understanding, and a sense of relief and confidence!
Is life life-ing? Are you feeling stuck or all over the place? Are you trying figure -ish out? Are you seeking clarity and guidance? Do you need a safe place to dump? If so, I want to help you! This is a safe space for you! No matter your age or status, I want to support you growing through this!

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is the foundational treatment method used in all sessions. It is important to me as a clinician to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their traumatic experiences, learn coping skills, and challenge negative thoughts and beliefs related to the trauma.
Choosing family therapy means you are choosing to grow stronger as a family! My goal is to guide and support you in improving emotional awareness, learning effective communication and problem solving skills, and developing healthy coping skills. This is a non-judgmental space of fairness, understanding, empathy, accountability, team work and hard work!
Together we will take a journey of healing from traumas by exploring and understanding your body and how your emotions show up and impact you. We will explore various techniques to process trauma and relieve stress and tension from the body. I want to help you feel safe in your body while exploring your thoughts, emotions, and memories. You'll lead at your speed and comfortability.

I chose Danielle as my therapist to help with a realities solution focused approach to my problems and she helps challenges me and ensure that I am reaching my goal. She also knows when to listen and allow time to vent and genuinely understand how I am feeling. Strongly recommend.
