Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Southern California. I received my Masters from Azusa University and have been practicing for 7 years. I help young adults experiencing emotional distress, burnouts, and life stage challenges overcome their difficulties and reach their goals. Additionally, I enjoy working with individuals facing cultural issues within their family of origin and with partner.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and the informed consent process , then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Before my own career change to become a mental health therapist, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and worked in various industries for about a decade. This experience gives me insight of what many of my clients are going through, which allows me to better assist my clients from a not only clinical, but practical perspective. Personally, I strive to practice what I preach and value work-life balance and holistic living.
I enjoy working with young adults/professionals who are committed to their careers. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their life trajectory, relationships, and careers.

Person-centered (Rogerian)
Staying true to person-centered therapy modality, I am warm and encouraging when working with my clients while focusing on client's goals and growth. My clilent's past, present, and future are equally important to me and practical practices are not only discussed but applied to the client's daily life. I actively track progress with my clients to foster tangible results.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Addressing how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors affect our mental health is the foundation of clinical psychology. Clients do well when cognitive behavioral based interventions and coping skills are applied as part of the treatment plan.
