Thank you for being here and looking into therapy! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, located in Southern California but offer teleheath (video) sessions all throughout California. I have been practicing since 2017, and work with individuals (teens, young adults, and adults) and couples, within the community mental health and private practice setting. My approach to therapy consists of an eclectic background, as individuals we are complex and not ‘one size fits all.’ I have a background in working with children, couples, and individuals, of diverse backgrounds. I aspire to help individuals of all backgrounds confront current life stressors, past trauma, and interpersonal struggles. To do so, I emphasize creating a safe and non-judgmental environment, while providing psychoeducation, coping skills, tailored to individual treatment and goals. I believe that all individuals have the strength within themselves to live a fulfilling life with strong connection to self and others.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will consist of getting to know one another, the presenting/current struggles and stressors. I take this session to connect and for us to both get to know one another, as our relationship is vital to the work we will do. I never want somebody to feel like they are talking to a 'clipboard.'
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My areas of focus consist of anxiety, family conflict, trauma, life changes/stressors, self-love/esteem, depressive symptoms, and setting boundaries within relationships. With this, I often implement CBT, mindfulness, and talk therapy with a heart aspect to help the heart be heard to work towards healing/change, and EMDR to process through trauma. I have often been told that I make client feels validated and challenge when needed. Also, I have worked with clients long-term and they share they appreciate my memory for different aspects of their life. I cherish this, as your story and journey is personal and I am alongside you for it!

Gabby is an awesome therapist! She does an excellent job at providing an open, welcoming environment. The questions that Gabby asks are spectacular and make me genuinely ponder (something I have never experienced with any of my therapists before).
