Hi there! I am trained as a trauma-informed and conscious parenting therapist. I provide services to parents and help them understand how past experiences and trauma shapes behaviors, shifting from traditional reactive/fear-based parenting to an empathetic conscious parenting role. I will help you to recognize your trauma responses, triggers, unmet needs and prioritize your self-care and emotional safety while still embarking on the challenging role of parenting. I use evidenced-based mental health modalities and holistic approaches to empower you to break intergenerational /transgenerational trauma by identifying and managing your own triggers while fostering safety and secure attachment.
In our first session, we start with a brief introduction. You will be invited to a grounding exercise to help you be present in the session then dive into the specific challenges and intention of starting this journey. We will start exploring your treatment goals, expected outcome, and your commitment to embark on this process. I will create a warm and trusting space in which you can be your authentic self.
Cognitive behavior therapy, Trauma informed approaches and modalities, Conscious parenting, Somatic interventions, Mindfulness exercises, Reparenting techniques and Inner child work.
I provide a dedicated space to mothers, especially those of neurodivergent children to process the unique stressors of raising a child with ADHD, autism, or other neurological differences. I help parents to transition from "survival mode" to empowered parenting in which they can let go of the belief of becoming “the perfect parent", but rather a conscious one.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT has helped clients have better understanding of their limited beliefs, that has led to the used of survival skills that make them react rather respond.
Somatic
The somatic experience approach helps clients to have a better understanding of their body sensations and how their emotions are manifested through the body. I completed a year training in Compassionate Inquiry which is a somatic-based psychotherapeutic approach created by Dr. Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur. As a trauma-informed therapist I am always learning and integrating different trauma intervention approaches including Internal family system to provide better service and support.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
This therapeutic approach integrates traditional mindfulness practices with contemporary psychological techniques to help manage their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. It emphasizes cultivating present-moment awareness and a nonjudgmental attitude toward one's experiences.

She was a great listener and she a was good with challenging me to empower myself self through mindfulness and reflection activities. She was warm open-minded and rirecr with her suggestions and outlook on things that might help me. I loved that she understood my religion and gave me insight on how to use it when I need to represent myself and my situation. Overall she was a good match for me !!!!!
