Do you ever feel stuck and don't know what to do? Does the thought of getting out of bed or completing a task feel so overwhelming that you'd rather just go back to bed and not think about it? It can be hard to carry on with the day to day activities that life brings us when we struggle with the stress, anxiety and overwhelming feelings around it. I enjoy working with clients to find the joy in life. I will listen to you, understand where you are coming from, and gently encourage you to move toward your goals. I will call you out on repetitive patterns that are getting you no where, and help brainstorm some ways of getting you out of that funk. You've done it your way, now let's work together to find a new way!
In our first session, we'll begin with quick introductions and continue on to the intake/assessment. The assessment process is usually the Q&A portion, where I gather more information about what brings you to session. We will talk about what you're experiencing, what you're expectations are in therapy, and what goals you'd like to accomplish during our time together. This will give me the insight I need to develop a customized plan for our future sessions.
It's easy for me to connect with others on a deeper level. I'm not afraid of the "icky" stuff and will happily be your biggest cheerleader. We can navigate this journey together.
I love working with teens and adults who may or may not have the adequate tools in their toolbox to navigate life's twists and turns. They would be motivated and open to learning different coping strategies, comfortable in trying new things, and meet fairly consistently until we get to a good and solid space.

This was my very first therapy session, and Miss Couch was really welcoming and warm. I had a great time with her, and realized that it's okay to reach out for help. Some of the feedback/opinions she gave lit up some lightbulbs in my head, that opened my eyes about events I've gone through. I will definitely schedule another appointment with her!

Tracee is very warm, open-minded, and caring. She is so understanding and challenges you by asking the right questions. She has a great sense of humor and is really your biggest cheerleader. I love that she provides the tools to help you be your best self.

I had a positive experience with Tracee, and this was my first time going to therapy. She made the whole process feel comfortable and approachable — warm, engaging, and open. I felt truly heard and respected from the start. Her empathy, thoughtful questions, and practical guidance helped me feel understood and supported as I navigated new steps. I highly recommend her to anyone, especially if it's your first time seeking therapy.
