In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for you to share your story in whatever way feels most natural. I’ll guide the session and take time to understand your concerns, but there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. My focus is on creating a safe space where you can show up as you are and begin exploring what you hope to gain from therapy. In this session I will ask questions about what brings you to therapy and complete an assessment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is my empathy and ability to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, listened to, and validated. I allow my clients to take the lead in their treatment, respecting their pace and choices throughout the therapeutic process.

I work best with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of themselves, but have a sense that they want something to change. Maybe you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, relationship struggles, burnout, or just feeling off and not quite like yourself. A lot of the people I connect with are thoughtful and self-aware, even if they’re hard on themselves. You might overthink, second guess your decisions, or feel like you carry a lot internally without always knowing how to sort through it. You don’t need to have clear goals or the “right words” for what you’re going through just a willingness to show up and be honest. I aim to create a space where you can talk openly without feeling judged or rushed. Together, we can make sense of what’s going on, build tools that actually help in your day-to-day life, and work toward feeling more grounded, confident, and like yourself again. Whether your goal is to manage emotions better, improve relationships, understand your patterns, or just feel a little lighter, I’m here to support you through that process.

Psychodynamic

I use the psychodynamic approach because it focuses on understanding the deeper emotional and relational patterns that shape a person’s current difficulties. Rather than only treating symptoms, it explores unconscious processes and past experiences to uncover root causes. This helps clients gain insight, improve self-awareness, and create more lasting, meaningful change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use the CBT approach because it focuses on how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. By identifying and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, clients can develop healthier coping strategies and make practical changes in their daily lives. CBT is structured, goal-oriented, and effective in reducing symptoms while building long-term skills for managing difficulties.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use the solution-focused approach because it emphasizes clients’ strengths and existing resources rather than focusing only on problems. It helps clients clarify their goals and identify practical steps toward change by building on what is already working. This approach is future-oriented, empowering, and supports meaningful progress in a relatively short time.
