About me

I believe therapy should be a place where you can come as you are and feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. As a first-generation Asian American and Christian therapist, I understand how faith, culture, family expectations, relationships, and life experiences can shape who we are and how we see ourselves. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and over 13 years of experience working with children and families. My approach is warm, genuine, compassionate, and down-to-earth, thoughtfully integrating evidence-based therapy with faith and spirituality when desired. I have a special heart for supporting young adults, couples, families, parents, and older adults navigating life transitions, relationships, family conflict, motherhood and postpartum adjustment, parenting, grief and loss, self-esteem, cultural pressures, and personal growth. I believe healing often begins by renewing the way we see ourselves, our circumstances, and what is possible for our future. Our hardest seasons do not have to define us; they can become part of a story of growth, healing, and transformation. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you move toward renewed hope and meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is about getting to know you—not just what brought you to therapy, but who you are, what you’ve been carrying, and what you hope might be different. You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly where to begin. We’ll figure that out together. There’s no expectation to share everything at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you as I listen, ask thoughtful questions, and learn what matters most to you. Together, we’ll begin creating a path forward that reflects your needs, values, and goals. Whether you’re seeking healing, clarity, stronger relationships, renewed hope, or simply a place to process life, my hope is that you leave feeling a little lighter and more hopeful about what comes next.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is meeting you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be. I’m not a therapist who will simply sit quietly and nod, nor will I push you before you’re ready. Sometimes you may need space to simply be heard; other times, I’ll gently challenge you to recognize patterns, consider a different perspective, or take a step toward change. My approach is shaped not only by my clinical experience, but by life. I understand seasons of transition, grief and loss, motherhood and postpartum changes, parenting, and difficult experiences that can shift how we see ourselves and the world. These experiences have deepened my compassion and taught me that healing looks different for everyone. I bring warmth, authenticity, genuine curiosity, and humor when appropriate. I want therapy to feel human—not intimidating or overly clinical—while helping you gain insight, build practical tools, and move forward with greater hope and confidence.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You may be the person everyone turns to—the one who keeps things moving, takes care of others, and tries to hold everything together. But somewhere along the way, you may have started wondering: Who is taking care of me? Maybe you’re entering a new season of life, struggling in a relationship or marriage, adjusting to motherhood or parenting, grieving a loss, navigating complicated family dynamics, healing from difficult experiences, or feeling caught between who others expect you to be and who you’re becoming. Or maybe nothing is obviously “wrong,” but you simply don’t feel like yourself anymore. You may be ready to understand yourself more deeply, make sense of what you’ve been through, strengthen the relationships that matter to you, and let go of patterns that are keeping you stuck.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I integrate Christian faith, biblical principles, prayer, and evidence-based therapy when desired, creating space to explore emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns. Together, we can draw on faith as a source of hope, healing, wisdom, and strength while working toward meaningful growth and renewal.

Attachment-based

I use attachment-based therapy to help clients understand how early experiences and relationship patterns may influence the way they connect, communicate, and respond to others today. We work toward building greater emotional safety, trust, security, and healthier connections with yourself and the people who matter most.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients recognize how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier perspectives, strengthen coping skills, and practice practical strategies that support lasting emotional and behavioral change.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize the resilience, abilities, values, and resources they already carry. Rather than focusing only on what is going wrong, we build on what is working to increase confidence, overcome challenges, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
