About me

I’m a compassionate, client-centered therapist who believes therapy is most effective when it feels safe, collaborative, and grounded in genuine connection. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to support children, adolescents, adults, families, and college students navigating a wide range of emotional and life challenges. My clinical experience includes working with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, eating concerns, family dynamics, and other challenges that can impact daily life. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals through periods of transition and helping clients develop a stronger understanding of themselves and their needs. My approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other individualized interventions. I also value the importance of understanding each client’s unique background, culture, experiences, strengths, and values. My goal is to create a welcoming space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I view therapy as a partnership, and I meet each client where they are while helping them move toward where they want to be.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Each session is different. For the first session, clients can expect to talk about themselves and identify their supports, interests, and goals. It's important to note symptoms and coping skills in the first session so there is some foundation to work from.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe therapy is a collaborative and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. My approach is warm, compassionate, and individualized, recognizing that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, self-esteem, and other personal struggles. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as CBT and mindfulness while also considering each client’s unique experiences, strengths, values, and goals. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop practical coping skills, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges. Whether you are facing a specific concern or simply feel ready for something to change, I would be honored to support you along the way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready to better understand themselves and make meaningful changes in their life, but may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, family dynamics, and eating concerns. I especially enjoy supporting clients who are thoughtful, motivated, and willing to explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Whether you are struggling with a recent transition, feeling disconnected from yourself, managing stress, or simply know that something needs to change, therapy can provide a supportive space to slow down and gain perspective. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and believe your personal experiences, culture, values, and identity are important parts of the therapeutic process. My goal is to meet you where you are and work together toward greater confidence, balance, and well-being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is an approach where we explore how your thoughts impact your emotions leading to behavior patterns. This evidence based approach is widely used to treat variety of mental health areas with great success.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is an important component in learning to be in the present moment. I approach mindfulness as a necessary tool to learn about your nervous system and how your body response to stress in life.
