Evan Jarschauer

LMHC, 20 years of experience

About me

My name is Evan Jarschauer LMHC-QS MCAP, I am a licensed Psychotherapist, qualified clinical supervisor, and master Certified addiction counselor. At the same time, I have experienced and effectively worked through my own personal life challenges associated with anxiety, depression, family issues, and addiction. I consider myself a disruptor of all of the things that tend to hold people back from living their best life possible.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is about creating an open counseling experience where you can feel safe, understood, and appreciated. I like taking time to understand who you are as a person, the challenges in life that you may have faced, and then beginning to identify some of the most significant issues that may be getting in your way.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I think that persistence is one of my greatest strengths as a provider. Somehow I've earned to never give up, even during some of my darkest times. And I will not give up on you, as long as you do not give up on yourself. And even if you do, I'll probably still keep fighting for you. And perhaps equally as important, I care about your perspective. I firmly believe that people don't care about how much you know, until they know how much you truly care about them as a person.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to work with someone who is ready for change and just needs a therapeutic nudge in the right direction. Even if you're not sure exactly what you are looking for, I am confident that together we can find a meaningful purpose. I am especially stoked to work with someone who has tried counseling before and is looking for a fresh new approach to self-actualization.
