I'm an empathic therapist with over 15 years of experience. I specialize in mood, anxiety, addiction, trauma and compulsive sexual behavior. I'm licensed in both Arizona and Georgia as an LPC, am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). I believe in people and their ability to change and am an unapologetic advocate for the change people are seeking to make.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with introductions, and an overview of the therapeutic process. Collect relevant background and history then explore specific challenges you're facing. Begin forming personal goals for therapy and collaborate on developing a plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a strong ability to connect with people. My therapeutic approach is fundamentally relational and I also have an extensive knowledge-base and understanding of what works in therapy. I've been very fortunate to have received excellent clinical supervision and ongoing mentorship that has helped guide my development.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work with adults of all ages and often work with young and middle aged adults experiencing various life-transitions. My clients are often motivated to try therapy but are ambivalence or unsure about whether to not they can change. Seeing clients make significant changes and do hard things they didn't think were possible is a great professional joy of mine.
