About me

Hello, and welcome. Are you feeling pulled in many directions? Does life feel overwhelming, leaving you unsure of where to begin? When stress, anxiety, life changes, or relationship challenges become too much to carry alone, it's easy to feel stuck. You don't have to navigate those moments by yourself. My name is Anacaona Antoine, though I go by my middle name, Nedgé. For more than 13 years, I have had the privilege of helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families work through life's challenges while discovering their own resilience and strengths. My approach is warm, collaborative, and solution-focused. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are without judgment and partnering with you to help you get where you want to be. Together, we'll explore the patterns, thoughts, and experiences that may be holding you back while building practical tools to help you move forward. Sometimes meaningful change begins with a small shift in perspective, greater self-compassion, or learning new ways to respond to life's challenges. Because every person is unique, I tailor therapy to fit your individual needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness practices. Depending on your goals, our work may also include breathing exercises, meditation, movement, creative interventions, and other techniques that support healing and personal growth. I believe therapy is a partnership. My role is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, challenged, and empowered to grow. Together, we can build on your strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and help you create the life and relationships you want. Taking the first step can be the hardest part, but you don't have to do it alone. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a trusting relationship. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I'll ask questions to better understand your background, relationships, strengths, and any concerns that are affecting your daily life. This is also your chance to ask questions about my approach and share what you need to feel comfortable in therapy. There is no pressure to have everything figured out before you begin. We will move at a pace that feels right for you. By the end of the session, we'll identify initial goals and discuss a plan tailored to your unique needs. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the journey ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring warmth, compassion, and authenticity to every session. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and sharing their experiences. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to meet clients where they are while gently challenging them to grow. I listen with empathy, ask thoughtful questions, and help clients recognize their strengths, build confidence, and develop practical tools for managing life's challenges. With over 13 years of clinical experience, I work collaboratively with each client and tailor therapy to their unique needs. I believe meaningful change happens through a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, honesty, and mutual respect. My hope is that clients leave each session feeling heard, supported, and empowered to take the next step toward their goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready to invest in themselves, even if they're unsure where to start. They may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or navigating challenges in their relationships, family, work, or a major life transition. They don't need to have all the answers—they just need to be open to exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families seeking a supportive, nonjudgmental space to heal and grow. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, stress, self-esteem, communication, grief, or relationship concerns, we'll work together to identify your strengths, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. If you're willing to show up, be curious, and take small steps toward your goals, I'd be honored to support you on your journey.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

"I help clients notice how their thoughts affect their feelings and actions. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and practice healthier ways of thinking and responding to everyday challenges."

Strength-Based

"I focus on what clients are already doing well instead of only looking at problems. I help them recognize their strengths, past successes, and personal qualities so they can build confidence and use those strengths to overcome challenges."

Psychodynamic

"I help clients explore how past experiences and important relationships may be affecting their current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By understanding these patterns, they can make more informed choices and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

Group Therapy

"I use group therapy to create a safe and supportive space where people can learn from one another. Group members share experiences, practice new skills, give and receive support, and realize they are not alone in what they are going through. I guide discussions, encourage respectful communication, and help members apply what they learn in the group to their everyday lives."

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

"I help clients focus on what they want to achieve rather than spending all of the session on the problem. We identify small, realistic steps they can take to move toward their goals and build on what is already working in their lives."
