About me

I am excited to meet you! I am Filipino-American mental health professional with a warm, culturally sensitive, and narrative-focused approach. I strive to create a safe therapeutic space where clients feel safe and seen as they explore their identity, relationships, and inner narrative. I am dedicated to the goals of my clients, even if they constantly change. Life is fluid, as is what we're able to handle.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another. (As a heads up, I do ask about your favorite ice cream/soft serve/frozen yogurt flavor. Be prepared!) We'll explore your history and the reason you've chosen to begin therapy. It's normal to be nervous and a little apprehensive. We'll navigate all of it together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I offer a calm, safe environment where you can explore your experiences without judgment. Together, we work to understand your emotional patterns, strengthen your sense of identity, and build confidence in relationships and daily life. I also prioritize acknowledgement of all progress, even the smallest wins, and will hype you up accordingly. I also prioritize honesty and clear, open communication. Comfortability and safety are my top priority in session, and I encourage all my clients to voice any concerns and questions about how we are approaching goals and growing skills.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with older and younger adults (ages 18-75) who identify as sensitive, introspective, and deeply imaginative — individuals who often feel misunderstood in traditional clinical settings. I have extensive experience providing support to survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and members of the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. A majority of the clients I have worked with often struggle with balancing their basic needs (i.e. food and housing) and managing their mental health needs. I will work as hard as you will and will support you through those transitions.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

A trauma informed perspective is essential to any treatment. The things we experience, both good and bad, affect us and are valid. When we begin from a place of curiosity, we have the opportunity to truly explore how to build up skills we already have and why we struggle to regulate ourselves.
