I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is skilled in numerous modalities that includes both EMDR and sensorimotor therapies. My specialties go to the root of the problem and finds the silver thread or in therapeutic terms the neurobiological network that connects the negative beliefs inherent in all the trauma the patient experienced.
In addition to my trauma training I earned my RPT (registered play therapist) and I have extensive knowledge of child development and counseling children and adolescents.

First session
My first session with each client is exploring the presenting problem and establishing goals and objectives for therapy. Furthermore, I simultaneously start composing a genogram when such information is provided voluntarily but I focus more on gathering the necessary information needed to complete a biopsychosocial assessment. The biopsychosocial assessments focuses on the client's past and present physical and emotional concerns. I look for an early negative belief that created a neuro network in the client that the root of the obstacles he/she faces in his/her life.
Strengths
I listen to the client and I use a collaborative approach to therapy that respects the client's feelings and perspective. My modalities allow the clients to gain the necessary insight to make informed and good decisions without having the therapist instructing them how to act. Furthermore, being a trauma specialist I am cognizant when a client is traumatized and needs to expand his/her window of tolerance. I am skilled in both expelling the physical sensations of trauma from the client's body that will expand the window of tolerance and regulating a client using grounding and relaxation exercises.
Ideal clients
I am highly skilled working with adults and seniors dealing with problems in their daily lives or who are trying to cope with a major trauma. Furthermore, many adults need ongoing therapy since they are struggling with a mood disorder and find my modalities extremely helpful.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I am highly skilled in DBT and I incorporate these skills either independently or in conjunction with EMDR and sensorimotor.
Sandplay
I use sandplay when I work in person either independently or in conjunction with other methods. It is very helpful since it helps the client express what they feel or what they are experiencing when they are unable to find the words.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use this practical treatment to help cts. manage their symptoms and regulate themselves emotionally.
