Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session with me, you can expect a compassionate and supportive approach. My goal is to create a comfortable and safe environment where we can collaboratively discuss your concerns. During this initial meeting, I will gather important details to better understand your unique needs, allowing us to build rapport and lay the foundation for our work together. We'll discuss your goals for therapy and start creating a plan that best supports your therapeutic journey, ensuring that you feel heard and valued every step of the way.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a provider, I believe my greatest strengths are my ability to foster a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood, and my collaborative approach to therapy. My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns, develop healthier thinking, and implement practical coping strategies. I begin by assessing the client's concerns and setting clear goals for therapy. I often use cognitive restructuring to help clients reframe irrational thoughts and behavioral activation to encourage engagement in meaningful activities, especially for those dealing with depression. I also incorporate exposure therapy for anxiety or phobias, mindfulness techniques for stress reduction, and problem-solving skills to help clients navigate life's challenges. Throughout the process, I assign homework to reinforce new skills and ensure progress outside of sessions.
