In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session I will make sure to get all of the general information stuff that is needed and then I jump into getting to making this your space. I will focus on getting to know you and opening the door so that we can see one another. I will show you how I intend to make you part of this process so that you don't feel like therapy is happening to you, but rather for you.

Over the years, I have prided myself on getting to know each one of my clients and having their journey be OUR journey. I will be there in the darkest periods of your life, but I will also celebrate all of the victories that you will accomplish as well.

I love working with those who have personality disorders, bipolar 1 and 2, severe depression, anxiety (general and OCD), and fertility issues. Most of the time they feel as if they are a "lost cause" or feel as if no one can see them. I am here to be part of your journey, if you let me, and will make sure to provide you with customized tools that you can really use in your life.

My treatment methods
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
The way that DBT is implemented in sessions are based on your individual needs. I will make sure to explain the intervention, practice it with you in session and provide you a worksheet that you can reference via email. This way you will never feel alone and know that I will be happy to review any intervention that you would like, as many times as you need.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
This is implemented via psychoeducation of what cognitive distortions are and how to challenge/reframe them.
