I'm a mental health professional working with a range of individuals since 2016. I enjoy working with adults who are ready to move their lives forward and focus on the future. I have experience working with individuals who have a severe mental illness and I have seen the impact that taking an understanding of tackling daily processes can be helpful for most people.
In our first session, you will get a sense of my style and I will begin to develop an understanding of where you are in your journey. I try my best to work with each person in a way that fits their personality without coddling or being condescending. I'll ask about some of your background but we will focus on your goals for the future.
One of my greatest strengths is transparency. You aren't in therapy for me, you're in therapy for you. And it would be a disservice for me to tell you things or lead you in a direction that isn't genuine. Being able to stay honest with my clients helps them to be honest with me. We can work together and get the job done.
I work best with individuals who are just starting on their therapy journey and need a push in the right direction. My clients are ready to understand that in order to be the best version of themselves we have to learn to be honest with ourselves and develop the tools needed to do so.
Using solution focused treatment helps us look toward our futures and gives us the opportunity to tackle tasks in the future.
