New to Grow
Hello. You have taken one of the hardest steps by looking into and beginning therapy. I have prior medical experience but changed career paths in 2001. I am originally from Texas but have lived in Colorado since 1997. I believe that you are the best historian for your past and I am a guide to help you walk through your present and into your best future. There is no judgment in my practice and all are welcome. I do offer spiritual/Christian counseling if this is something you are looking for.
During the first session we will discuss your intake paperwork and what you are looking for. You have the ability to ask questions and I will ask you some too. I'd like to know about past therapy and what worked or what didn't work for you. We will be bale to discuss possible interventions and what you will want/need to make this a grand experience for you. If you are coming to the office the will also be able to have time with Jack and Jill. Both Jack and Jill are in training to be psychiatric service dogs. Jack has been training for some time and Jill is just getting started. However, if you do not wish for either of them to be in the office during your session, you just have to ask and arrangements your appointment, will be made for a time they will not be there.
I have been a mental health and addictions therapist for over fifteen (15) years with multiple certifications and other training. I offer a more holistic therapy to treat mind, body, and spirit with clinical therapy, support, nutrition, and other options. I am also trained in EMDR and Internal Family Systems for treatment of various types of trauma. I also offer caregiver fatigue and caregiver therapy for those dealing with a family member struggling with a chronic illness or Dementia/Alzheimer's Disease. I have found that all around, holistic, therapy services have good results as we are all body, mind, and spirit inclusive. Empathetic and non-judgmental services are what is provided walking into the office or online.
