I have worked as a therapist for over 18 years. I previously worked in clinics and am comfortable dealing with nearly every kind of mental health issue. In recent years, I have become particularly interested in helping those dealing with reoccuring or chronic mental health issues and helping those who help people dealing with mental health concerns. My goal is to equip clients to deal with whatever they are facing in a calmer, more effective manner.
In our first session, I want to get to know who you are and what you are currently facing that is causing you distress. I might ask some questions to get us started, then I will listen. I will do everything I can to make you feel comfortable; it can be daunting to speak to a stranger about hard things and I want to make that easier.
I love my work; I truly believe there is nothing too hard to face when given the tools and the support needed. I like to use humor where appropriate, and I bring compassion to the unique situation you are facing. Every person has strength, courage, beauty and creativity in them, sometimes undiscovered. Together, we will unlock your potential to face what you need to face with grace.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, burnt out and worried? Do you feel the things you enjoy are out of reach, or you have lost touch with what that could be? Living a life in which you feel fulfilled in some way, finding pleasure in small things even when the big things are hard, feeling connected to others: these are things everyone needs and deserves. I want to help you feel better, more stable, more fulfilled, and hopefully happier. We cannot avoid problems, setbacks or negative events in life, but we can face them with grace and courage.

She doesn’t just listen, they see me. They hold space for the parts of my story that feel heavy, complicated, or painful, and they do it with a level of compassion that makes it easier to breathe. If you’re looking for a therapist who is deeply empathetic, incredibly skilled, and truly committed to your healing, I couldn’t recommend her more. I’m grateful for every step of this journey with her.

She is very smart and listens to everything you have to say. Always has me engage in certain what -if scenario s. Very helpful on coming up with solutions to my problems. I appreciate her input and concern.
