Our first meeting is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, any past experiences you’ve had, and your hopes for our work together. I’ll take time to learn about your strengths, your story, and the unique qualities that make you who you are. This is a space for you to feel heard, understood, and supported as we begin your journey toward growth and healing.

Trauma Informed Care
During the assessment process, I take time to understand any past trauma and its potential impact on current well-being. I recognize that life experiences shape thought patterns, emotional responses, and interpersonal interactions. My approach emphasizes creating a safe, supportive environment where treatment is guided by an awareness of these influences, fostering healing and resilience.
Psychodynamic
I work collaboratively to explore both current and past patterns of relating to others and engaging with the world. Together, we examine your behaviors, relationships, and the ways you interpret significant life events to deepen insight and understanding. This process helps identify how these patterns have supported or limited you, and provides space to reflect on changes you may wish to make in how you experience yourself and connect with others.
Interpersonal
I focus on addressing specific challenges you may be facing, such as difficulties in relationships, changes in roles within family or social circles, or setting healthy boundaries. Together, we explore these areas and, when appropriate, develop effective communication skills to support stronger, more fulfilling connections.

There is so much more that I can say about Corrine. She is compassionate, warm, solutions oriented, intelligent, curious... I can go on and on. I feel listened, seen, and validated, and helped in understanding how my experiences have shaped how I think and behave, and finding solutions for those behaviors and thought patterns that aren't useful anymore. She takes a holistic approach without getting stuck in the past.
