I have experience with adult clients across a wide range of racial, ethnic, gender and socioeconomic spectrums, and have demonstrated the ability to make every client feel heard and understood on their terms. In the first session, we will build therapeutic rapport and get to know each other while we review intake and assessment information. My goal is to be on our way to a good relationship, with good data and diagnostics to guide us forward.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
I use an eclectic approach to treatment based on my client's needs. Dialectical Behavior Therapy is an area of significant experience with individual and group treatment but I incorporate best practices that suit client needs. We will find evidence-based approaches that not only fit your treatment needs but also feel comfortable to incorporate into your journey.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My biggest strength is building an individualized approach with effective therapeutic rapport. I have specialized experience with Corrections/Forensic populations including working with correctional staff. I have demonstrated success with complex cases and mood and personality disorders.
