About me
Hello – I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of California. This is a second career that I started after receiving my Masters in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco. I have been practicing for over 7-years with community based mental health services including County agencies. As a client centered therapist, I utilize a strengths-based, transparent approach to coming alongside others in their individual life journey. I have enjoyed working in the mental health field for almost 9 years using evidence-based practices and collaborating with other professionals such as psychiatrists and psychologists. I have a strong network of fellow therapists and like them, I focus on the positive to assist individuals and families achieve their goals.

During your first session, you will share your reasons for reaching out for mental health support. I will provide you with my approach and you will determine if I am a good match for you. It's common to meet with a few therapists before finding the right one.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Family Systems Therapy is my strength. As a clinician, I view the family as a system, not one person as a problem. Change occurs by helping client/family view the system as the problem rather than the individual.
