About me
Hello, I'm Erika. If you find yourself experiencing burn out, relational stress, or difficulty coping with change, you are not alone. I have over a decade of experience supporting and empowering individuals to gain insight into life challenges and to move towards desired change. I utilize a trauma-informed and evidence-based approach to care. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, or difficulty adjusting to life transitions, we will work together to address the person as a whole. I integrate mindfulness, visualization, movement, and various forms of creative expression to promote healing and well-being. Seeking therapy and finding the right fit can feel like a daunting task. However, together we will find a way forward to support you and address your needs.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session will help me to get to know you better as well as to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges that you are facing. This first encounter is important for both of us to get a sense of whether we are a good fit since feeling comfortable with your provider is one of the most important components for a successful treatment outcome.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
My treatment approach is eclectic. I am trained in a variety of modalities including Problem Solving Treatment (PST), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), CBT, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) among others. Together, we will create a treatment plan that feels right for you.

I strive to foster growth and healing through a deeper understanding of your history, relationships, thoughts, feelings, and actions. I believe in human’s innate ability to heal from difficult experiences. My approach to psychotherapy is culturally responsive, collaborative, and evidence based.
