I’m Megan, an Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Los Angeles, specializing in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, relational challenges, and major life transitions.

Whether working with children through play-based techniques or adults seeking clarity and emotional balance, I create a safe space for self-exploration, growth, and lasting change.

My approach is warm, supportive, and solution-oriented, integrating CBT, Mindfulness Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to empower clients in overcoming obstacles and building fulfilling lives. Whether working with children through play-based techniques or adults seeking clarity and emotional balance, I create a safe space for self-exploration, growth, and lasting change.

First session

n your first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where they can share what brought them to therapy and what they hope to achieve. You'll start by getting to know them, discussing their concerns, background, and any relevant life experiences. You'll also explore their strengths, coping strategies, and personal goals. My approach is solution-oriented, so even in the first session, clients will begin to gain insight into their challenges and start identifying small, actionable steps toward change. I will explain my therapeutic approach—integrating CBT, Mindfulness, EFT, and Solution-Focused Therapy—and work together to develop a plan that aligns with their needs. Most importantly, clients will leave feeling heard, validated, and empowered to move forward in their healing journey.

Strengths

My greatest strengths as a provider are my warmth, solution-oriented approach, and ability to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered. I have a natural ability to build strong connections, helping both children and adults feel comfortable opening up. My expertise in CBT, Mindfulness, EFT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy allows me to tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs, whether they need practical strategies for managing anxiety, deeper emotional processing, or guidance through major life transitions. I excel at helping clients recognize their strengths, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and develop actionable steps toward meaningful change. My ability to balance compassion with practical guidance ensures that clients feel both supported and challenged in a way that fosters real growth.
