About me

Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (GA) and an American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) approved supervisor candidate. I received my Masters from Capella University in Minnesota and have been practicing for 6 years. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy. I help clients struggling with personal and professional stress and burnout become the best versions of themselves.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges that brought you in. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-on sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have an ability to connect and build a great rapport with my clients. I enjoy doing this by using humor, genuine curiosity, care, and respect of each individual. Through empathy, active listening, relaxation exercises, narrative and experiential therapies, clients are able to identify the root cause of their challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with servicemembers, veterans, and their families. My clients tend to have many stressors in their lives and this takes a toll on the marital satisfaction of the couple. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious and do not know where to turn or are unable to get assistance in a timely manner.

I want to say....This is the first time that I have ever opened up to anyone about my traumas and experiences during my deployment in Iraq and dealing with the deep, dark feelings long after coming home. I look forward to learning the coping skills necessary to live a long, happy and productive life. Thank You so much Juan!!
