I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience supporting individuals through mental health challenges, trauma, addiction, and life transitions. As a Mexican and Filipino American woman, I bring a culturally informed approach that honors the impact of identity, community, and lived experience on healing. I earned my Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in Mental Health from the Jane Addams College of Social Work, and have worked in a variety of settings, including residential care for addiction, outpatient addiction treatment facilities, and community mental health care. My work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a deep respect for each person’s story. I draw from evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy while focusing on strengths and self-awareness. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or seeking clarity, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered. You are valued.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our initial session begins with introductions and your interest in seeking therapy. We work together to define goals you'd like to process through in our sessions and discuss therapeutic approaches to support us through presenting concerns.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Anxiety, Mood Disorder, Substance Use Disorder and Addiction, Psychotic Disorder, and Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have had the pleasure working with various age groups. I have leaned into working with young adults transitioning through life challenges, defining who they want to be, and becoming comfortable with who they are. I also enjoy working with older adults in healing through complex trauma.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The CBT approach helps individuals become aware of how and why they perceive the world the way they do. It also offers an opportunity to challenge negative thoughts that contribute to anxiety and depression

Attachment-based

This approach helps us understand how our early experiences with caregivers shape the way we form relationships later in life.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma-informed care provides a safe and supportive space where individuals feel heard as they process traumatic experiences that impact their well-being.
