After a brief introductions, I will have a comprehensive session to gather information and history of the client, help client to express the presenting concerns, mental health history, to set goals in therapy, build rapport with client and get the social and developmental history.
I am genuinely empathetic, good listener, provides non-judgmental safe environment, collaborative style, culturally sensitive and work excellently with multicultural clients because I have lived in 6 different cultures, proven, tested and tried strategies to help with the presenting problem, empower the client to harness their strengths and resources.
I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and/or self-care. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life. I help clients with emotional problems like Grief, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Trauma and Anger management. My work is to help them overcome their challenges by teaching them coping strategies and build their skill to improve their quality of life, think more positively and find emotional freedom.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
It is very helpful to use with clients who have anxiety and depression and help them in cognitive restructuring thoughts and behaviors, and teach them relaxation techniques like guided imagery, and use journaling their negative thoughts to help them change to positive thoughts.
Grief Therapy
This modality is helpful to use with my clients to cope with the emotions that arise after a loss such as death of a loved one, job loss, relationship loss or any life changes. I got certified in Grief counseling and have a structural format of how to work with grief.
Trauma-Focused CBT
The specific trauma I have worked on is rape, PTSD, accidents, people affected by war, Intergenerational trauma, any stressful event that reoccurs such as neglect of profound nature, experiencing physical and sexual abuse, military combat are some of the trauma I have worked with. I have used this treatment method by helping client to shift their brain focus from the past event to the present, helping them to regain control over their life, helping them to face the reality of the past traumatic event and boost their daily functioning.
Faith based therapy
I have used faith based therapy with clients who wants traditional therapy with religious principles and practices, it helped the client to address their mental health issues while considering their faith as part of the healing process, incorporated meditations and discussions on how faith impacts life and decision making.

Well once we connected, I immediately felt safe. She was very kind which gave me a sense of relief. Her voice and smile helped as well. I can tell she enjoys what she does. I think this will be a great fit for me to accomplish what I set out to do. Thanks Again Mary God Bless You!

Mary actively listened and participated in discussing my concerns and needs. I spent a lot of time reviewing providers reviews, and I kept coming back to Mary and reading what she could offer. She did not disappoint, and I am so looking forward to working with her and traveling the journey ahead. I am deeply grateful for faith and spiritual guidance on this path from Mary.
